*$105 covers the GovConvert license. Because it deploys into your own tenant, you’ll also run modest Azure infrastructure — typically a few hundred dollars a month for a small team, billed by Microsoft at your rates, and it’s yours, not ours. We’ll size it with you on the demo.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who counts as a seat?

Only internal application users consume a seat. Partner, guest, notification-only, and System Admin accounts are free — so your teaming partners can work inside your pipeline without you buying them a license.

What does the $105 cover, and what runs on my Azure bill?

The $105 per seat covers the GovConvert license — every feature, no tiers, no upcharges. Because GovConvert deploys into your own tenant, you also run its Azure infrastructure (App Service, PostgreSQL, Key Vault, Storage). For a typical small team that is a few hundred dollars a month, billed by Microsoft at your rates, not by us. We will size it with you on the demo.

Are AI model costs included?

You bring your own models (for example Azure OpenAI in your tenant), so model usage bills at your Azure rates and your prompts never route through our infrastructure. We add no per-token markup, and your data never trains anyone’s model.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Yes, annual billing saves you 10% compared to monthly billing.

Is there a minimum seat count or setup fee?

No setup fee for self-serve deployment, and Professional starts at a single seat. Enterprise adds implementation, custom integrations, and a support SLA.

Is my data secure?

GovConvert deploys into your own Azure tenant, and CUI never leaves your M365 GCC High boundary — it is never stored in GovConvert at all. We hold no credentials, no network path, and no read access into your environment. The Security page walks the full architecture.

Does GovConvert make me CMMC compliant?

No software makes you compliant, and you should be suspicious of any vendor who says otherwise. What the architecture does do: it keeps CUI inside the boundary you already control, it avoids adding another external SaaS to your assessment scope, it ships a tamper-evident audit log on by default, and the CMMC documentation for the deployment is built in and copy-ready for your SSP.

Do I need GCC High?

No. GovConvert deploys into your own Azure tenant — Commercial, Azure Government, or alongside your M365 GCC High environment. If you handle CUI, we’ll recommend the topology that matches your existing boundary on the demo.

How does deployment actually work?

You subscribe, receive your license key and private container-registry credentials by email, and run the Azure Marketplace Create wizard into your own resource group — about 15 minutes of wizard time, about an hour end-to-end for a typical MSP. The How It Works page shows every step.

What about my existing pipeline data?

Bring the spreadsheet. We’ll help you get your opportunities, contacts, and pipeline loaded during onboarding, and custom fields mean your columns don’t have to fight the schema.

Will my data be locked into GovConvert?

Quite the opposite. You have full access to your data at all times with simple one-button export and continuous access to all connected documents. Zero lock-in is a foundational principle. We know you will stay because we provide value, not because it is expensive to leave.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the billing period, the deployment already lives in your tenant, and your data exports with one button. Leaving is designed to be easy — that’s on purpose.
